Hi all,
Model Engineering College, Cochin will be celebrating its tech
fest (Excel http://www.excelmec.org/ ) this week from February 2- 4th. With
six months of preparation, a committed and passionate workforce, a team
working for a cause and not just a goal. We invite you to be part of this
incredible carnival.
*Why????*
A community which helped us grow. A community which created a
revolution. A community which became the foundation our college. MEC is all
about Free- Software.
LTSP clients. Our own web servers. Beowulf backed blade servers,
squid proxies, DMZ zones, snort IDS, wi-fi hotspots etc. MEC is a one big
research lab of Open Source Software. Again MEC didn't stay as a college, we
had exuberance. Students and teachers joined hands to teach for it at school.
We had regular install parties. Condor supercomputing tests and open mosix
experimentations.
Come, be part of part of our joy. Join the movement. Advice us.
Inspire us. Watch our exhibitions. Join our workshops. All with a cause.
