Does anyone have a recent version of a popular distro (Fedora, Suse, Debian,
Ubuntu) for IA 64 platform. As I have 3.0Ghz computer, I am unable to run
any of the 32 bit distros natively. I have Suse 10, Fedora 1 and Opensolaris
running using Virtualization in Windows XP. I can however install Linspire
5.0 successfully . Suse warns that I am trying to install a 32bit OS on 64
bit platform, but it does not detect my seagate sata hard disks. Otherwise
it does not block the installation. My system config is :
> 3.0GHz Pentium-4
> ASUS Motherboard
> 512 MB RAM
> 240 GB Seagate SATA HDD (160 + 80)
Anybody having any idea how to proceed with install plz reply.
Thanx in advance.
