Dear Members How is everyone. Hope all are doing great :) .
I would like to bring to your notice the presence of the Unofficial ILUG Channel #ilugkochi on irc.freenode.org A mail was posted around almost a year back, mentioning the creation of the channel. Although there were some people visiting the channel initially now its down to nil. Well the purpose of the mail is to enlighten you about the existence of this channel . The ILUG meetings are as usual attended by very few people, so at least i think people having internet access can meet on the channel. I would also like to request the moderator to include the channel address in the footer of every mail, thereby recognizing it as the official channel of ILUG Kochi or taking that decision after the response of the members. As Freenode hosts almost the entire free software and related channels on irc so thats why our channel is hosted there too Hope to see more and more people logging into the channel soon.
