The "Open Movie" project "Peach" by Blender foundation premiered the
Second short 3D Animation Open Movie "Big Buck Bunny" yesterday (10-4-2008)
in the theatre of Amsterdam Film Academy. The project is released under the
Creative Commons Attribution License. The first Open Movie project was
"Elephant's Dream".
The movie is created using the Free Software 3D Animation software
"Blender". The primary aim of this project is to stimulate the development
of the "Blender". Big Buck Bunny will be released on 35mm film format, on
video DVD and Blu-ray.
The ILUG-Cochin is planning for a preview of the movie in the next ILUG
meeting.
