Gnewsense GNU/Linux Installation Demo

The main highlight of the meeting will be a GNU/Linux Installation Demo 
with an extensive Q&A session.
The Installation demo is mainly targeted at the new users. We will be 
demonstrating the Gnewsense GNU/Linux
Installation.

We will also have the more important Q&A session, which will comprise of 
the attendees discussing issues they face
in daily life while using GNU/Linux. The session is intended to be an 
interactive one, wherein people explain the hurdles
which they face while using GNU/Linux as an alternative OS or otherwise.


Technical Presentation : " Basics of Content Management Systems " by Kurian


A Content Management System (CMS) is computer software used to create, 
edit, manage, and publish content in a consistently organized fashion.

Content Management Systems have evolved over the years and are now 
widely used for a variety of applications ranging from educational to 
commercial.

The presentation intends to give a step by step simplified guide to 
configuring any CMS and discussing the wide spread applications it can 
be put into.
The presentation will focus on Mambo CMS (http://www.mamboserver.com/)

Application of the Month : Nautilus File Manager by Sreenadh

Nautilus File Manager is a powerful tool that can be extended with 
advanced functionality making it a Swiss Knife on the Desktop.

So as you can see there is going to be lot of action this months meeting 
, so make sure you brave the traffic and rains and reach there
