Are you talking about 'startx'? Your question is not clear. Besides, v5.2 is a bit old (pretty much old). Try and install the lastest version. Its smoother, feature-rich, and hassle-free. > Also pl advise how to uninstall linux from the pc as it has > 3 incomplete > intallations. > http://support.microsoft.com/kb/247804 Yeah.. that's a M$ link, don't hate me for it. ;) There's a trick with Win XP CD. I use to use that. 1) Boot with the CD (yes, the XP CD should be bootable) 2) Get in to ASR console 3) Type C:> fixmbr 4) Type C:> fixboot 5) Type C:> exit 6) Reboot These should be done after you remove Linux (ext2/3) partitions from the HDD. Reformating the partitions, deleting etc are your options. There are a couple of more "How to remove Linux" links at M$ KB. There are better links on the web. Google is your friend here. :D No worries, Mahesh Aravind _______________________________________________ Mailinglist mailing list [email protected] http://ilug-cochin.org/mailman/listinfo/mailinglist_ilug-cochin.org
