Hello All.
ILUG Cochin will be putting up a stall at The National Free Software Conference
2008( http://nfm2008.atps.in/ ).
The theme of the stall as always
would be "Freedom" emphasizing the
aspect, especially at this time when convenience
has taken over the importance of Freedom.
The stall will be inauguration on 12th November evening, and will start
receiving visitors from 13th to 16th November.
The visitors on the first two days (13th and 14th) are mostly expected to be
students, while 15th and 16th will witness
the visit of delegates, speakers and people participating in the conference.
Being one of the most oldest and active Swathanthra Software groups in the
country we need to show them what is it
that we believe in and what we have been doing.
Of course we all know that there hasnt been anything on the contribution side
into the Free Software, apart from
small projects, but we must try to stress the importance of remaining true to
our values and existing for the past
11 years.
We must ensure participation from all the members on the
Mailing List. There is
no one authority for the conduct of
our stall neither are any specific official members, hence please rope in to be
present on the days of the stall and
make our stall one attractive one were people come with expectations and go
back fully satisfied.
