Hi all,

I am trying to install a software IEEE 1394 Diag for Linux. This is a GUI based application for analysing the IEEE 1394 protocol. This requires Qt to be installed in the system.

I am using Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron. I installed Qt 4.2.1 from source. I also updated to the latest Qt. But the software still cannot be installed.

During configure the error shown is

checking for extra includes... no
checking for extra libs... no
checking for libz... -lz
checking for libpng... -lpng -lz -lm
checking for libjpeg6b... no
checking for libjpeg... -ljpeg
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.0.2) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.

Please check where your Qt libraries are installed, probably they are in /usr/local/lib
and the configure script checks them in /usr/lib
And do attach the config.log file when you ask such doubts. This will provide us
with more information and will help us to help you better. :)

Please help me.
