Warm greetings to the Free Software Community,
The meeting for the month of February 2009 conducted
successfully.
There were 30 people who attended the meeting.

The meeting started at 2.30pm. As usual the meeting started
with the introduction to Free Software. The meeting discussed
about GNU Movement, Open Source and GNU/Linux.
The meeting next discussed about the latest release of
Debian GNU/Linux codenamed "Lenny". The history of
Debian was explained to the audience.
The meeting then moved to the next session introduction
to GNU/Linux file system hierarchy and command line. In
this session the speaker explained how the files are organized
in GNU/Linux. Some command line tools were demonstrated.
There were lot of doubts from the audience.
In parallel to this session a demonstration of Debian GNU/Linux
"Lenny" was conducted. The session discussed the various
problems that a user may face during Debian installation.
We thank all the attendees for making this meeting a successful
event.
And hope the next meeting is bigger and better.
The meeting wound up at 6pm.
