The blog post was made, of course from the author's perspective, there are quiet a few replies to it that tries to correct the ideas conceived by the author. I had had a quick chat with someone earlier this week on the same post. I just thought I'd share my mind on this ..

All those who understand FOSS may not just advocate it. I think 'thats okay'. They dont need to and at least it wouldn't make any negative propaganda and damage the cause.

But those who advocate it SHOULD be very careful about the words they choose, the idea they propose, and the facts that they convey. To be very specific to this case, what I believe is, all those who had discussed FOSS with the author, must have done more of "MSoft Bashing" than talk about FOSS. I think FOSS should be suggested as one of the options and not imposed as the only option.
