I downloaded archlinux-2009.o2-ftp-x86_64.iso and created a bootable CD. But when trying to boot from it, I am redirected to caldera DR-DOS prompt and am standing at A:\> drive.
I currently use a dual boot laptop with Windows XP-SP2 and Ubuntu 9.04. A few days before, I had switched the ext3 partition to ext4 without formating the system. Thinking this might be some problem with the change in filesystem, I tried it with my home PC in which Windows XP SP2 and Linux Mint 7 Gloria are the OS's. (Installed version was Mint 6 Felicia and I had upgraded the OS, a few days before.) Here also, the CD boots into DR-DOS. I searched for a solution and didn't find any handy reference. May be, something related to Grub may solve the problem. But still, I do not know what to do. I request you to help me with this. regards, Sebin -- Understanding is a three-edged sword: your side, their side, and the truth
