Hi, Nice to hear about "the heart beat and pacemaker" in the linux based application. I would be happy to answer a medical related doubt or any help if some body is interested in developing any medical related application.
I think in most cases you have a technology / software / hardware solution , you may be able to find a medical application if you work on it. If anybody is thinking in this direction, I would like to help you. Iam from Ernakulam. If you look at a hospital you can see that most of the treatment modality has its orgin from diverse discipline. If you look at a CT Scan machine, it evolved from the X ray machine by the implemenation of a mathematical concept “the radon transform”. This is just an example. You can start doing it in simple way. I mean you can think about modifying say your linux application for a medical need.
