According to the Christians, there were Pagans in the beginning. Then came Christ. He taught the doctrines. For His doctrines he became Crucified. And Resurrected. And the followers believe they were liberated and got salvation through Christ. They started propaganda. Lead crusades. Then split into many groups. Western Church. Eastern church. Protestants. Got many rites and rituals. Then came ecumenical movements to reunite all christian churches into one. But the irony is what all Christian say the same thing. There may be shades of differences, however.
