Hi all,
I am currently using Ubuntu Lucid and i was having an issue in which i
was having a delay of almost 20 secs before my desktop loaded from GDM Login.
After some google searching, i found that this issue can be resloved by
disabling the floppy drive from bios. Its caused bcoz udisk probes for a
non-existent Floppy Drive (Since its enabled in BIOS). Here is the Link..do

This issue was most reported on Ubuntu Blogs...but came to knw that some other
distros were also facing the same issue. Hope the info was useful...
