Ubuntu is the best Linux ever . Very easy to use ;looks modern ;always free and a very strong and vibrant user community.
If you google a lot ;I am sure you will notice how much activity is going on around Ubuntu (which is a fairly recent distribution ) Ubuntu rocks!
