I like a few points that is written in the BSD-India mailinglist home page

BSD India is a web page and a mailing list dedicated to helping out
BSD users living in India or of Indian origin to get together and
discuss BSD.

Specifically missing points were:

    * Goals of "spreading" BSD.
    * Freeing the world from Microsoft.
    * You're either with us or with Microsoft attitude.

Emphasis was on:

    * Technology comes first, open source, community building etc comes later.
    * Discussing the development methodology and processes that make
BSDs so popular in some market segments.
    * Providing reassurance to people who like BSDs, but aren't moving
because of the "if BSDs are so good, why isn't anybody using them ?"
hurdle.
