Hello Anish,

A seperate ML? Well as i see most of the topics are of dealing with GPL
core issues and less of interesting technical topics, to be honest i never
had a clue before i joined Ilug, that it was all the legal stuff that i
would read about. It seems my initial impression was wrong.

Some may, after reading above may tell me 'You have complete freedom to
unsubscribe' , well it turns out i do respect the core ethical values of
FSF, and like to be a supporter and contributer to Ilug. I never even meant
to convey i would quit Ilug for some other group.

I would love to see a local group interested in technical aspects of the
software they use. Thats the whole point :-).

That was my personal opinion. I will not join just A Linux User group,
because, I Don't like kernel level programming. :-).

It will not corrupt my freedom ethics, as far as ethics become a primary
consideration.

Personally, I am not favoring the term FOSS. Free Software and Open Source
Software are different domains.

Me too like to learn internals of what I use, and I do so.

I said convenience, in the case of twitter. I have previously used twitter.
There was some mobile clients, so that I could post while I travel.

But, in Identi.ca, I could not find such a client. Please suggest one if you
know one, which is a free software.

Even though twitter is convenient for me, I use identi.ca, because of my
freedom considerations.

We post technical questions and answer here, right? Then why a separate
mailing list for technical only discussions?

PS : These are my personal opinions. I am not aiming for a flame war here.
