Hi all , I see dangers of institutionalism coming into the Free software world as well. The FSF was pitching to us that they stand for the common developer in his survival battle against proprietary software giants like Microsoft , Apple , Oracle and other biggies.
If FSF comes up with a compliance program , It is trying to do what MS trying to do for their Windows logo program. This according to me is a change in form and thus the prediction. regards Praseed Pai http://praseedp.blogspot.com --- On Sun, 10/17/10, Anish A <[email protected]> wrote: From: Anish A <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [ILUG-Cochin.org] Hardware endorsement program by FSF To: "This List discusses GNU/Linux & GNU, GPL Software" <[email protected]> Date: Sunday, October 17, 2010, 7:17 AM Praseed, Why don't you reply? Please state the reason behind that, we all are eager to hear. On 10/14/10, Praseed Pai <[email protected]> wrote: > In the near future , FSF will become like Microsoft , Apple and Oracle.
