I think it's fine (cool, in fact!) for packagers to DTRT w.r.t. to the
Linux distros they're supporting.  If there is something I can do to
make your lives easier, let's talk about it.  But by default, I want a
source install to put all Mailman files under a single common subdir
(i.e. the way it works now).  I think it's easy enough to configure it
for just about any file system layout.
