That last python build I was grinching about was 2.2 on a pair of solaris boxes. One 7, one 8. Once I clubbed bsddb to death, and got zlib working right, life was good. (need to install zlib kit on 7, and just uncomment the zlibmodule line. zlib comes with solaris 8, but required severe editing of the zlibmodule line to delete all the -I's and -L's (which might only have been an issue on my machine)). Other than that, things compiled just ducky, and 2.0.5 runs on it just fine. _______________________________________________ Mailman-Developers mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/mailman-developers
