Anyone else for/against the patch?
If it's okay, can someone move towards applying it and notify me? I'd like to keep it from bitrotting, and I have had it on my TODO list for ages now, so I want to ensure it goes upstream.

Although I haven't checked the patch, I like avoiding my mouse, and it's hard to see how it's going to cause problems.
