OK. I agree that this is considerably beyond the scope of what I have in
mind.

I suggest you start a separate thread if you want to pursue this.

If you do pursue it, one note:

Currently, all the the list-specific configvars are lower_case, but all
the sitewide configvars (in mm_cfg.py) are UPPER_CASE.
