Very few users have any idea what the file name is (and their programs have less, lots of my colleagues send files with names beginning ESC $ B -- which are the escape codes to switch to Japanese! the programs don't know how to encode them properly) They just click on the link. So I think it's mostly harmless. We should provide a FAQ for the admins who do want the feature. For 2.2 we should think about truncating the buffer. -- School of Systems and Information Engineering http://turnbull.sk.tsukuba.ac.jp University of Tsukuba Tennodai 1-1-1 Tsukuba 305-8573 JAPAN Ask not how you can "do" free software business; ask what your business can "do for" free software. _______________________________________________ Mailman-Developers mailing list Mailman-Developers@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/mailman-developers Mailman FAQ: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/mailman-users%40python.org/ Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/mailman-developers/archive%40jab.org Security Policy: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py?req=show&file=faq01.027.htp
