When do you think they might release a version with Python 2.4 support? The same kind of goes for OS X, which ships with Python 2.3 on Tiger. I have no idea what Leopard will ship with, but I'd have to hope that it would be at least 2.4.x if not 2.5.x. I guess my standard answers would be (In no particular order :) - - It's easy to build an appropriate Python on whatever *nix platform you've got - - I'm sure there are RPMs available for Python 2.4 - - RHEL5 will probably beat Mailman 2.2 :) I suspect that Mailman won't be the only Python app out there applying pressure to upgrade to a more modern (read "supported") version of Python. - -Barry -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (Darwin) iQCVAwUBRRsu0XEjvBPtnXfVAQJwxAP/ard0TFLRDrSalg2W4Fz92gkwFuEdCBPQ 1mSwo7/c9ORPxzPPQ8hgLE2SoN2LeaBFKzFw0HV20Av4g5coQhV2XjwZO+1PbhXt SXXx7A9iwVgsMrqo8qFvUpUBBc9BQptCF1WrTzkbkTdmvSxMEmcpoW0mbOd+Po5U aTnvtFK6ccU= =bi7z -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Mailman-Developers mailing list Mailman-Developers@python.org http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/mailman-developers Mailman FAQ: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/mailman-developers%40python.org/ Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/mailman-developers/archive%40jab.org Security Policy: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py?req=show&file=faq01.027.htp
