Why not do both?  That is, if Tailor does its thing well, we can
cheaply have a dvcs mirror auto-synced to the svn 2.1 branch.  If Mark
and Tokio *both* agree, then we can abandon the svn branch.  *Until*
they do agree, people submit patches to the tracker as usual.

I predict they'll get used to the "pull the 'this-patch' branch from
my repo @ URL" style right quick, though.<grin>
