I understand. In fact, my todo list contains "Standard substitution
dictionary for templates."
Historically, the only substitutions available for any template are
those in the standard template. I know we can do better, but I wasn't
planning to attack this in the 2.1 branch. I can probably slip in
'listname' for archidxfoot.html, but I don't want to be inundated with
everyone's pet request.
