I also noticed http://mail.python.org/pipermail/mailman-i18n/2005-May/001218.html - the last message - the tag for encoding is us-ascii, but the unicode characters get displayed properly because &#<number> format is being used in the html. Well that's one way of doing it but not one that I would prefer, since view-> source becomes human - unreadable. > -- > Can't see Hindi? http://devanaagarii.net > Can't write Hindi? http://devanaagarii.net/inscript > àààààààà ààààà > http://lists.sarovar.org/mailman/listinfo/devanaagarii-lipi > ààààààà http://lists.sarovar.org/pipermail/devanaagarii-lipi/ > -- Can't see Hindi? http://devanaagarii.net Can't write Hindi? http://devanaagarii.net/inscript àààààààà ààààà http://lists.sarovar.org/mailman/listinfo/devanaagarii-lipi ààààààà http://lists.sarovar.org/pipermail/devanaagarii-lipi/ _______________________________________________ Mailman-i18n mailing list Posts: [email protected] Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/mailman-i18n/archive%40mail-archive.com
