Hi,

Anybody know how to do manual surgery to delete a malformed user?

I'm running MM 2.1.5, I have a list with 1700 members. Somehow, one of the email addresses got corrupted with what looks like some control character at the end of the address.

When I look at the address in mailman web admin, it the url for the user is end with rona.cole--at--lausd.net%0D

This link goes the user, but any attempt to delete the user give a unknown user error.

When I do a 'find_member' on the address :

found in:@lausd.net
    cal_prev

Note that the 'rona.cole' part is not displayed in the results.

When I try 'remove_members'

I get member not found.

[/usr/local/mailman/bin]
>./remove_members cal_prev
No such member:

[/usr/local/mailman/bin]
>./remove_members cal_prev
No such member:

Thanks for any help!

Regards,
John Dell
