It is possible but your cPanel hosting provider will need to do it. They will need to remove the message from your list's mbox file and then rebuild your archives. At least that is the way I handle that situation for my own Mailman 2 clients. I don't believe it is possible for a cPanel user to do this since they normally don't have root access to the server.
