/opt/mailman is supposed to be owned by the mailman user:

Postfix is only supposed to read the files in  /opt/mailman/mm/var/data,
IIRC.
If you followed the approved/official HOWTO -
https://docs.mailman3.org/en/latest/install/virtualenv.html - then you
really should not be having the problems you are facing.
