That is a problem with older versions of django-allauth. Which happens to be used in the mailman3 version of Debian 12. You can read all the details in this issue: https://github.com/pennersr/django-allauth/issues/3019 At the end of the issue comments you can find the link to a script written by msapiro to fix/workaround this issue.
