OS: Solaris 8 on an e420R Postix Ver: 19991231-pl13 Mailman Ver: 2.0.6 When sending mail to a list, its not being delivered. The messages are being sent to the $prefix/qfiles dir and just sitting there. The qrunner cron job is not running, and I'm not sure why. Output from /var/cron/log shows: < mailman 15107 c Thu Sep 20 14:41:00 2001 rc=1 > CMD: /usr/local/bin/python -S /export/home/mailman/cron/qrunner > mailman 15297 c Thu Sep 20 14:42:00 2001 ! bad user (mailman) or setgid failed (mailman) Thu Sep 20 14:42:00 2001 < mailman 15297 c Thu Sep 20 14:42:00 2001 rc=1 If I run /usr/local/bin/python -S /export/home/mailman/cron/qrunner from command line as user mailman, it sends the messages to the list that were stuck in the $prefix/qfiles dir. I compiled mailman with: ./configure --prefix=/export/home/mailman --with-cgi-gid=nobody --with-mail-gid=mailman It compiled and installed fine. No errors in the $prefix/logs/ Any suggestions ?
