I'm using mailman on RedHat 7.2, and I saw that it was installed with the system. But I backed away from using the rpm, and built a fresh install from scratch. It's really pretty simple, and makes it easier to keep up on patches.
The problems I saw were that the mailman $prefix directory was in /var instead of /home (non mailman default), and the version included was 2.0.6, not the latest. Mojo On Fri, 21 Dec 2001, Michael B.
