Just to keep you up to speed with the most recent findings on stripmime.pl running
unde RH7.2, here's the scoop.
As presented on the stripmime web site, the alias does not work. I had to do the
following workaround (helped by a linux guru from
another list I am a member):
1. Create a small script in /etc/smrsh (e.g. call it
"/etc/smrsh/strip" or whatever):
#!/bin/bash
/usr/local/bin/stripmime.pl | /home/mailman/mail/wrapper "$@"
2. Change your alias to:
test: "|/etc/smrsh/strip post test"
3. newaliases
adn Voila!, it works.
