Nope, there isn't.
It's  actually a  useful feature,  I've wanted  it for  sourceforge.net too,
where I unfortunately can't let list admins mass subscribe anyone they want.

Considering how much time I've been  spending on the mailman code these last
2 weeks, I could almost code this, but I also know Barry has to start saying
no at some point and put mailman 2.1 into beta/feature freeze, and I already
have one last patch I'm trying to get in :-)

What this means  is that unless Barry  steps up and says that  he'd like the
feature in 2.1, I  may just code this as a patch a  bit later and distribute
it outside of mailman until the 2.2cvs tree opens.
