[Mailman-Users] Mailman doesn't create List Owner

Hi, I've installed Mailman on a debian system running postfix. I can add newlists, and subscribe but when i go to confirm my subscription I get a user not found (listname-request). I have created several lists but none of the create the necessary users although the script indicates that this has been done.   Can someone please shed some light on this problem for me   Nick Cockinos
