I just joined this list today because I am having some problems with my list administration. I am not the person who installed Mailman on our system - I'm just someone who has hosted a site and my host company offers Mailman as a list service.
I set up a list, and some of the members have chosen to receive digests. By default everyone was set up for plain text. Those receiving digest who chose plain text were receiving all of the coding in their messages, making it hard to read the actual messages. I switched them all off of plain text and those using Hotmail are now receiving the digests perfectly. But, the AOL members have it worse! Is there a fix for this? Is there something the AOL users can do at their end? Any suggestions are appreciated. Kelly H.
