hello! Although there are some threads in the mail archive to this problem, i think this one is slightly different so i decided to ask here...
I'm getting the following error: ----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors ----- "|/home/mailman/mail/wrapper post test" (expanded from: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>) ----- Transcript of session follows ----- Failure to exec script. WANTED gid d, GOT gid d. (Reconfigure to take d?) 554 "|/home/mailman/mail/wrapper post test"... unknown mailer error 2 Unlike the other posters before, there's a gid of "d" mentioned, where a number should be in place... Then, mailman has been installed correctly with its own uid and gid: uid=5555(mailman) gid=5555(mailman) When executing the often mentioned check_perms as user mailman, it says that there are no problems found. mail:~ $ id uid=5555(mailman) gid=5555(mailman) mail:~ $ pwd /home/mailman mail:~ $ ls -laF mail total 56 drwxrwsr-x 2 mailman mailman 512 Oct 10 15:21 ./ drwxrwsr-x 18 mailman mailman 512 Oct 10 15:51 ../ -rwxr-sr-x 1 mailman mailman 25904 Oct 10 15:21 wrapper* mail:~ $ Any hints on that? I really wanted to get rid of majordomo :-) With kind regards, Frank Altpeter ------------------------------------------------------ Mailman-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/mailman-users Mailman FAQ: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/mailman-users%40python.org/
