For openssl source, I ncompressed and did (as INSTALL suggested): $ ./config $ make $ make test $ make install Nothing failed along the way. If I reinstalled openssl again (although, since there were no failures when I first installed it, I wouldn't expect there to be now), would I need to reinstall python, since python likes to configure itself with ssl, if ssl exists?
