Searching Redhat, I found this RPM: tmpwatch-2.8.1-1.i386.rpm It may or may not fix the problem; it says it applies to all versions of RH from 5.2 through 7.2, and I am running 7.2--I thought I'd upgraded to 7.3, but I hadn't. I'll have to wait till tomorrow to see if that fixed it.
