nothing if you are looking to purge all emails. It is possible to edit listname.mbox and remove only some posts (i.e: everything older than 6 months) and recreate the archive from the remaining data. I mistook your earlier email to imply that you wanted to retain some data since arch is used to recreate an archive from an existing .mbox file.
