As a newbie in the group, I'd like to be able to search the archives, but the URL provided in listed messages,
http://www.mail-archive.com/mailman-users%40python.org/ <http://www.mail-archive.com/mailman-users%40python.org/>
produces a Not Found error. Is there actually a usable archive for this list?
See http://mail.python.org/pipermail/mailman-users/ but it is not searchable. I'd try using www.google.com with Mailman in the search words and ignore results returned for http://www.mail-archive.com/ which are unreachable at present.
http://www.mail-archive.com/ problem is not specific to mailman-users but is due to some unexplained general problem with the site.
