Hello, All: I've installed and configured Mailman 2.1.4 "with a little help from [the list]" - to paraphrase the Beetles.
Mailman was installed in /usr/local and works nicely there but - for security reasons - I prefer to mount the /usr partition read-only. This presents a problem, however, because Mailman needs to write to some of the subdirectories in /usr/local/mailman. (e.g., ~/archives, ~/data, ~/lists, and ~/qfiles) Will replacing these directories with symlinks to /var break Mailman? -- Eric P.
