Without looking at all the headers of various sample messages, it's hard to say.


The problem might be somewhere within Mailman, although I think that's unlikely -- I haven't heard of anyone having these problems due to Mailman itself.

The problem is more likely to be a problem with one of the mail servers which touches the message once it is out of the hands of Mailman. This sort of thing is not too unusual with certain LAN/PC Internet e-mail gateway software, such as cc:Mail, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Mail, Microsoft Exchange, etc....
