I think your MTA does not know the user-id/name using which it should run the Mailman alias commands.
I mean, suppose your Mailman is ocnfigured with uid "mailman" and your MTA is postfix, then postfix should know that it should execute all the mailman related alias commands as user "mailman" --yogesh > All, > > I support a Mailman Server (2.1.4) that has over 40 maillists on it.
