Thanks Mark,
Is there a way to have the 'set global' check box- checked (on a certain field) by default?
All the best,
Tamara

Is there a way, and if there is what is it, to modify a subscribers information,
across all lists?
for example: change a subscribers email address, without having to go into each list and find him there.
Certain settings on the user's options page have a "set globally" check box. These include e-mail address, real name, and a few others. As a list admin, you can go to one of your subscribers options page from the membership list pages and globally change any option that has a "set globally" check box. In the case of an e-mail address change, the user will still be sent a confirmation at the new address which must be accepted before the change is effective. The other changes take effect immediately.
If you want to change something that doesn't have a "set globally" check box, you would need to create a withlist script to do it.
