Hi, I need to setup a system with around 15,000 lists. Have other people been using mailman for such a large number of lists? One thing that concerns me is that there doesn't seem to be any support for a hashed directory structure for storing the the lists config and archives under:
$VAR_PREFIX/lists $VAR_PREFIX/archives The concern is that on a unix filesystem it is very slow to access directories with thousands of entries. Apart from this are there likely to be an issues with hosting so many lists? thanks, iain. -- Iain Pople Systems Programmer University of Melbourne ------------------------------------------------------ Mailman-Users mailing list [email protected] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/mailman-users Mailman FAQ: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/mailman-users%40python.org/ Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/options/mailman-users/archive%40jab.org Security Policy: http://www.python.org/cgi-bin/faqw-mm.py?req=show&file=faq01.027.htp
