Hi. I'm getting ready to install Mailman and have a few questions. The procedures outlined in the Installation Manual at list.org seem odd. Other software that I've installed from source usually does things like creating the necessary user, setting permissions, creating the installation directory. Also, the documentation says not to install Mailman as root. Am I following this right? Or am I missing something?
