Please don't think I was complaining. It's just if you're going to call it 
an API, I felt the person should know the limitations. Myself I've gotten 
around it very well with a Perl wrapper and sudo.

Unfortunately I know perl, PHP, bash, some C and C++, could probably 
remember some FORTRAN, Pascal, and BASIC in a pinch, but no python.
