The missing Date: header was fixed in Mailman 2.1.7. See <http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1212066&group_id=103&atid=100103> and <http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1301983&group_id=103&atid=300103>.
